About Lisa Jones Bogie - RDMS, CRGS
After graduating from the 3 year Ultrasound Program at Mohawk College in 1997, Lisa began her career as a Registered Sonographer & is a member of ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers), CARDUP (Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals).
Lisa began her career in Barrie Ontario, working in human hospitals and clinics from 1997- 2012. Lisa expanded her scope of practice in 2010, teaching ultrasound to veterinarians and veterinary technicians with VetNovations, Canadian distributor of GE ultrasound machines. Lisa also founded, Sound Discovery, a mobile small animal veterinary ultrasound business in 2010, servicing veterinary clinics in the Barrie and the surrounding area. Lisa now provides ultrasound service to more than 35 veterinary clinics on a scheduled and emergency basis.

We perform a wide range of ultrasound diagnostics including abdominal, cardiac, thoracic, urinary, pregnancy, and ocular.
Non-Cardiac Thoracic
This should be requested when a mass is identified on a thoracic radiograph. Cardiac measurements will not be performed. For best results the thoracic radiograph should also be sent to the radiologist.
Cardiac
Routine cardiac images and measurements will be obtained. Colour doppler and m-mode tracings will be documented. This test includes reporting of a cardiac ultrasound by a veterinary cardiologist.
